About Bruce Slorach

Since the inception of Utopia Goods, Bruce Slorach has been at the artistic helm of the textile and wallpaper house, illustrating every print with the skill of his distinct hand. In March 2016 he exhibited at Saint Cloche Gallery in Paddington, and in May 2023 he presented Native Deities at Woollahra Gallery at Redleaf, a show that stunningly captured his deep connection with Australian native flora and fauna, with its colours and gestures mirrored in paint. Across his career, his work has also been shown at London’s prestigious V&A Museum, the National Gallery of Victoria, the National Gallery of Australia and the Powerhouse Museum in Sydney, where several of his artworks are held as permanent acquisitions. His body of work continues to feature regularly in well-recognised Australian and international magazines and newspapers.
