Welcome to Horizon Dreaming

The Utopia Goods Horizon soft furnishings and fabric collection draws on folklore, nature, the bush and birdlife and is dominated by a colour palette inspired by the natural landscape. From jewel-like ocean blues, rainforest emerald-greens to dusky grey gums and everything in between, colour and print explode onto the fabric like a living painting.

At first glance the prints could be inspired by flora and fauna from all over the globe, but when you look closely, you’ll see they’re native to the Australian landscape.

Illustrated and hand screen printed, Utopia Goods is designed in Sydney, Australia, and aims to produce quality, limited-edition fabrics including classic textiles for home furnishings, tableware and accessories.

The illustrative narratives within the collection pay tribute to many of Australia’s most iconic native foliage and flowers. The print designs include the exotic Paradise, a classic Flowering Gum, and the bold and brilliant Banksia, all painted in Bruce Slorach’s fluid and lyrical style. Although the designs span a number of directions and destinations, the prints and patterns are intended for easy layering and occasional clashing. The new collection is ready for limitless combinations.
